Interested in the Mass Academy at WPI?
The application deadline for the Massachusetts Academy of Math & Science at WPI, Class of 2028, is just over a month away. Applications are due February 9, 2026.
The next information session is Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Information sessions will include a director’s welcome and classroom visits. The director’s welcome will provide an overview of the Mass Academy program, including the admission policies, curriculum, school calendar, and expectations. The classroom visits will allow students and families the opportunity to visit the classroom areas and speak with faculty and current students. Space is limited. Participants are strongly encouraged to register in advance. Doors open 15 minutes prior to information session start time.

Our fall semester classes will conclude the week of January 12, 2026. BVExcel instructors will enter final grades into a Google Sheet that I will share with school counselors a few days after the last day of classes. Each BVExcel course is worth 0.5 credits and should be added to the student’s transcript upon completion.
The spring semester is scheduled to begin the week of January 26th and will run through Thursday, June 4th. If you have seniors who are finishing early and need their grades prior to that date, please let me know or feel free to reach out to the instructor directly.

Manufacturing II / Advanced Welding – Tuesdays at the BVHub for Workforce Development
Programming for Collaborative Robots – Thursdays at the BVHub for Workforce Development
Please encourage any interested students in your districts to register online over the next few weeks.
Health Care Essentials, held on Wednesdays at Hopedale Jr.–Sr. High School, is currently full; however, students may add themselves to the waitlist through our website.
